I say yes. But my reason will more than likely surprise you.

Is There Life After Death?

Two Types Of Death

We all are both physical and mental, and the spirit makes both relevant. Without the spirit assigned to us for a particular purpose, our physical and mental makeup would serve no function. It’s within the speck of spirit we temporarily possess our means to fulfill the purpose is held, therefore people have physically died because they fulfilled the purpose, so the speck of spirit was called back to The Source.

Physical Death

No person dies without fulfilling the reason for their life; to do otherwise would defeat the purpose of life itself. Now, did most of the people who have died realize they served their purpose? More than likely, the answer would be no because, on average, most people don’t plan on physically dying when they actually do. But if those who knew the individuals who died flash backed on what they loved doing most of all, they would discover what their means to fulfill the purpose was. When we have experienced physical death, there’s no life after this. Some may say existing on this plane can’t be all there is to life, and they would be absolutely correct. Life is an opportunity to live, not just merely exist. Living consists of creating memorable moments with those who love us, and who we confess to love. It’s memories that immortalize us in the hearts and minds of those who knew us well, and when we’re no longer physically amongst the living. We weren’t destined for physical immortality, but the results from our actions were. From our interactions with others to whatever we may have created along the way, this will all represent us in our physical absence. So this will be our life after our physical death.

Mental Death

Now, let’s talk about mental death, which is likened to physical death, but we’re actually alive. To be mentally dead means our thinking isn’t aligned with the meaning of life, which is living, which again is creating memorable moments with those who love us, and who we confess to love. To have life and not live is amongst the worst things we could ever think to do. The only way we’ll realize our means to fulfill the purpose is by living our life. There is literally no other way it can happen. Sure, we can see others doing great things, and this can motivate us to do great things, but if we don’t start, we’ll never know how it’s supposed to end. Living is about “the doing” daily, this way we’ll get better at it, because eventually the doing will become like second nature. Sitting around wasting time being non-productive is likened to physical death. Being productive is living at its finest. To produce and share what’s produced is why we’re here, and it’s how future generations will know we were here as well. To be resurrected from mental death, we must align our thoughts with that of living by breaking free from the grasps of stagnation and procrastination. Remember: Life is an opportunity to live. Living consists of creating memorable moments with those who love us, and who we confess to love.
