Duality At Its Finest

She’s fire, I’m rain/how can we maintain?/The water and the flame. It’s the chemicals in our chemistry/duality, I’m the bad boy, she’s the ministry. Her light helps me to see, while my darkness helps her to shine. I crave her ways/while mine introduces her to her best days.

She’s fire, I’m rain/how can we maintain?/The water and the flame. It’s the way that she sees me, and the way that I stare/everywhere we appear, we leave love in the air. I felt her, feeling me/after I saw her, no other sight I cared to see. We agreed to make it work, overtime if need be/temperatures stay on high, even at the lowest degree.

She’s fire, I’m rain/how can we maintain?/The water and the flame. Because love conquers hate/I use to couldn’t wait/to debate/I thought that failure was my fate. But then she came blazing through/re-shaping my mind until thinking was brand new/she gave me someone to be, I gave her something to do. She reads, I write/we fuss, we fight/most times we’re both dead wrong, but how we love each other…is so damn right.
