What’s The Status Of Your Memory Bank Account?
The Explanation
Drawing the proper conclusions from experience’s lessons is the key to us living the life we desire, and, deserve. The said conclusions are what wisdom is all about, we reach these conclusions by the process of elimination. In all that we do they’ll be numerous ways it can be done, but, only one will be the right way. We understand that we have discovered the proper way something should be done when we achieve our goal, which is how wisdom is established.
Sharing Is Caring
I’m going to give you an example of me eventually drawing the proper conclusion from experience’s lesson, which in turn afforded me the wisdom I still benefit from to this very day.
The Initial Option
Since I can remember, I’ve always had an issue with possibly being late for anything. So, to avoid representing this pet peeve I decided to do everything an hour and a half early. Seemed like a great idea at first, that is until I tried it for the first time. In the end, I found myself fighting with time, to be “on time.” I would thoroughly analyze the experience to see where I went wrong. I concluded that though I was doing things an hour and a half early, it was way too many things I was doing. The goal was to save time but in all actuality, I was only wasting the time I’d donated to the cause.
The Proper Conclusion
So, I came up with the idea of doing things that could be done in advance, the day before. I laid out what I planned on wearing and everything else I’d need, I sat alongside the said outfit. I made my lunch the night before, so I wouldn’t be doing so in the midst of preparing breakfast. Thanks to drawing this conclusion I added the minutes necessary for me to always be “early,” which on average was no less than twenty (20) minutes. And as I stated earlier, I still follow this same routine to this very day, which is well over eight (8) years old.
The Benefits
Respecting the time of others has put me in numerous favorable positions because I was deemed as reliable, which is an accomplishment we should all strive for. It also allowed me to showcase my other strengths, mainly my ability to interact with people properly. My people skills opened the door to me interacting with some very influential individuals, who would eventually look towards me for helpful advice. Yes, these are just three of the many benefits being “early” has afforded me.
A Friendly Reminder
“To be early is to be on time. To be on time is to be late. And to be late is unacceptable.”-Unknown.
The above quote I heard well over eight (8) years ago, and it has been very instrumental in helping me to remain true to my routine of always being “early.” Wisdom Is The New Wealth, and, it never depreciates.
Conclusion
To properly utilize time set to the side for a specific reason, we shouldn’t have things that can be done in advance as a part of the objective.
When we have a proper plan in place and follow through to the letter, the result will more than likely be a successful one.
Wisdom is established when what we do to accomplish a goal, produces the desired result.
Thank you for taking the time and donating it to reading my words. May all you deserve and desire flow abundantly into your life like a river does into a sea.
